Harpur Edge will host alumni of our undergraduate and graduate programs to have informal conversations with students about how to leverage a liberal arts and sciences degree and make the transition from student to professional.

Harpur alumnus  (BS in Chemistry) who founded Think Tank Strategies Inc., joins  (BA in Management) who founded both Incubate Media and Innovate Youniversity and
                of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator who has coached both entrepreneurs to found
               their businesses while they were students at Binghamton.
Earth Day Film Debut - Morning Altars: An Animated Short:
Celebrate Earth Day and join us for the world premiere of Morning Altars: An Animated
            Short with impermanent earth artist . Day will be with us on Zoom to watch and talk about his work.

Individualized Major to Career Success:
Participants learned about Melissa's unique career in public health and how the individualized
            major program supported her career success.  designed her own major in Health Communications/Public Health when she was a Harpur
            College student. Now she is working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as Senior
            Strategic Initiatives Manager for Strategy and Innovation in the Design & Innovation
            Group.  of Harpur Academic Advising joined us to share details about the inner workings of
            proposing an individually designed major.
         
PR & Communications Executive:
Students participated in an informal conversation with Harpur alumnus, . Mr. Haggerty is President and CEO of PRCG | Haggerty LLC, a legal public relations
            and litigation communications boutique. He is an attorney, author and consultant with
            more than twenty-five years of experience counseling corporate, nonprofit and individual
            clients.
         
Founder @StupidCancer:
 led an informal conversation with students about his career and time as a student
            in Harpur College. Matthew is a community builder and storyteller. After surviving
            end-stage brain cancer, he ignited a global movement of cancer renegades united in
            advocating for choice, equity, and a dignified path to a productive life. As the Founder
            of Stupid Cancer, Inc., Matthew is considered to be one of today's most creative and
            influential patient leaders.
