Program Overview
The Photography program exposes students to the expansive field of photographic techniques and concepts in
a sequence of classes focused on the development of technical craft, personal vision,
and innovative approaches to the medium itself. Students explore traditional black-and-white
and digital photography, alongside historical processes and emerging technologies.
Through extensive hands-on experience in darkrooms, digital labs, and lighting studios,
students cultivate self-directed portfolios that utilize photography to engage with
a wide spectrum of social issues and personal themes.
