Oct. 4, 2022 - The U.S. Department of Education has awarded $250,000 for Provost Mitch Avila's project 鈥淣ative American Indigenous Studies Curriculum Development at 黑料视频.鈥�
This project will support the creation of a Native American and Indigenous Studies Program at 黑料视频CI, help meet 黑料视频 Ethnic Studies requirement (AB1460) and prepare future K-12 teachers to teach the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum. 黑料视频CI鈥檚 new Native American Indigenous Studies program will increase students鈥� cultural knowledge and understanding. It advances racial reconciliation, inclusive excellence, and economic justice. The first classes will likely be offered in late 2023 or 2024.
