ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ

Yvette M. Bocz has been named ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµCI’s 2007 Volunteer Alumni Advocate of the Year. She was honored at a ceremony attended by ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Chancellor Charles B. Reed and several legislators. It was hosted by the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Alumni Council and held in Sacramento on ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Legislative Day in March.

Bocz is a 2002 graduate of California State University, Northridge at Channel Islands, and along with her participation in the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµCI Alumni & Friends Association, her work on legislative issues has been critical to this campus’s future earned her the Volunteer Alumni Advocate honor. In 2006, she worked to garner support among the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµCI A&FA members for the passage of Proposition 1D, which will bring nearly $62 million to ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµCI to fund infrastructure upgrade projects.

Every year each campus in the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ system may designate one member of its alumni association for this award.
