Research assistant - Project on social capital at local community dinner
Description:
This project evaluates social capital formation and community building at a local free community dinner. The project is a partnership with the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City. The research aims to provide data on the social benefits of the church’s services and to better understand social networks and social capital surrounding the church’s weekly free dinners.
   
   We are looking for an upper level undergraduate student interested in social science research experience. The project will involve listening to recorded interviews to produce and edit transcriptions. AI use is NOT permitted with participant data for this project.
